Welcome to Salsa Connection! Two time winner of the Virginia Dance Awards "Outstanding Latin Dance Studio."
The members of Salsa Connection Dance Company (SCDC) have collectively been dancing, training, teaching and performing in the Greater Richmond area since 2009. Salsa Connection is the 2020 & 2024 Virginia Dance Awards winner for the category of "Outstanding Latin Dance Studio." Our excellent student-to-teacher ratio allows us to offer personalized feedback to students during group classes. Whether you attend one of our weekly group classes, take a private lesson, or participate in a group/corporate event, we can give you the skills to get out there and onto the dance floor!!!
Services We Offer
Located in the heart of the Richmond Arts District at 23 W Broad Street (4th floor), we offer the following services:
Weekly group classes in Salsa On1, Salsa On2, and Bachata for all levels of dancers. Specialty intensives and workshops are offered on Mondays and also some Saturdays throughout the year. Topics change monthly and the schedule can be found on our website. STUDIO INFORMATION

Events
Salsa Happy Hour at Vagabond - Join us from 5:30 PM - 9:00 PM at the Vagabond located at 700 Broad St, Richmond, VA. Plenty of social dancing and free lesson at 6:00 PM. Next dates are March 20th, April 17th, and May 15th.
Havana 59 - Once a month Salsa Connection teaches the lesson at Havana59's Tropical Thursdays. Lesson is at 8:00 PM with social dancing afterwards. Upcoming dates are 3/19, 4/30, 5/28, and 6/25.
