Welcome to Salsa Connection! 
Two time winner of the Virginia Dance Awards "Outstanding Latin Dance Studio."

The members of Salsa Connection Dance Company (SCDC) have collectively been dancing, training, teaching and performing in the Greater Richmond area since 2009.  Salsa Connection is the 2020 & 2024 Virginia Dance Awards winner for the category of "Outstanding Latin Dance Studio."  Our excellent student-to-teacher ratio allows us to offer personalized feedback to students during group classes.  Whether you attend one of our weekly group classes, take a private lesson, or participate in a group/corporate event, we can give you the skills to get out there and onto the dance floor!!! 

Located in the heart of the Richmond Arts District at 23 W Broad Street (4th floor), we offer weekly group classes for all levels of dancers in Salsa On1, Salsa On2, and Bachata.  Beginner 4-week sessions are offered monthly (except December) for students new to dancing.  Beginner bootcamps are also offered monthly as an option for those who cannot attend a 4-week session.  Specialized workshops are offered throughout the year.  Private lessons are available for those who desire a more tailored experience.

Student Team

We hold auditions for our Student Performance Team every September.  Auditions for the 2026-2027 Team are scheduled for Saturday, September 12th. Click the link above for more details!
